Horse Riding is a dangerous sport and all competitors in Ridden Classes are strongly advised to wear appropriate head gear which complies with up to date safety standards
JUDGING COMMENCES AT 10.30AM
Prizes: 1st - €80, 2nd - €50, 3rd - €40 (unless otherwise stated)
Classes H1, H2, H3 are in association with the Ireland West Young Horse Championship
The aim of this class is to promote quality young horses bred in Ireland and to exhibit the future champions in the West of Ireland
Deliverd by Horse Sport Ireland and funded under National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine
No entries permitted on day of event.
Rules and Conditions
- This competition is open to animals with the breed code ID, registered in The Irish Draught Horse Studbook (or a harmonised Irish Draught Studbook) with recorded breeding
- Exhibitors to both the qualifier & final must have their animals passport available for inspection prior to entry to Judging Ring. Failure to comply with this rule will leave to immediate disqualification
- Passports & Microchips should be read by a vet at the final
- Two Animals in each qualifying class may be selected to compete in the final provided the judges agree the standard is high enough.
- One of the judges at the qualifying show must be a qualifed Irish Draught Horse Judge.
- Animals qualified for the Final are not eligible to enter any other class at the Show where the final is held.
- The Qualifiying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A Rules
Prizes: 1st €500, 2nd €300, 3rd €250, 4th €200, 5th €150, 6th €100, 7th and upwards will receive €50 on apprearance at the final
Entry fee to qualifying show €15 To Final €30
A prize will be presented for combination of best turned out animal and most suitably dressed handler
