Friday July 24th

 

Any non-perishable exhibits can be dropped off at the marquee in the show field between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Friday

Saturday July 25th (Show Day)

8:00am Showgrounds opens for admission of exhibits

9:00am Dog entries taken from now until 10am

10:30am Goat judging starts

10:30am Sheep judging starts

10:30am All horse judging commences

11:00am Cattle judging starts

11:00am MidWest broadcasting live from the field all day, call in for the chat!

12:00pm Dog Show begins

12:00pm Moffatt School of Irish Dancing with performances from the World Champion winners

12:30pm Official Show Opening with Noel Mullins (formly of the Irish Field) 

1:00pm Robert Padden providing music for the field all day

1:30pm Jiving competition for adults

2:00pm Bonny Baby

2:00pm Childrens Relay Race

2:30pm Tug of War competition

4:00pm Lunging commences

4:30pm Donkey Derby

6.00pm The amazing Shane Ruane kicks off the evening entertainment.

9:00pm The mighty Paddy Garvin sings us into the night in the Marquee.

Glamorous Granny & Most Appropriately Dressed Lady and Gentleman will be chosen at 4:00 p.m.

Dog Entries, Bonny Baby, Jiving, Tug of War, Donkey Derby and Lunging can all be entered on the day.
